Orientation Week Spring 2025

Usually, Orientation Week (Oweek for short) is organized for all incoming students one week prior to the beginning of each semester. Furthermore, before your arrival in Prague, important and practical information will be relayed to you through online sessions via MS Teams. Our guide on how to download MS Teams can be found here.

Orientation Week for Spring Semester 2025 will take place from February 10 – 14, 2025. The programme will consist of:

1) Face-to-face activities organized by the ESN VSE Prague – details about the activities are shared by the ESN VSE Prague through their communication channels.

Culture Shock	February 10 10:00 – 11:30	Culture shock, its phases, and how to survive.	Link to the online meeting will be provided in due time.
Czech Language Crash Course	February 11 10:00 – 11:30	Learn some basics of the Czech language.	Link to the online meeting will be provided in due time.
Introduction to Library Services – Online	February 12 10:00 – 11:30	What you should know about the VSE library, its services, online book ordering, e-resources, reservation of study rooms.	Link to the online meeting will be provided in due time.
History of the Czech Lands	February 13 10:00 – 11:30	Learn the most important facts about the Czech History.	Link to the online meeting will be provided in due time.
Welcome Ceremony	February 20 18:00	Official welcome and a taste of Czech culture.	The ceremony will take place at Vencovského Aula.
Team Game	February 17 – 20	Join this activity to discover the campus, have fun and meet new friends.	More details will be announced in due time.

*By attending the events organized by VSE, each participant declares their consent to the use of the photographs, audio recordings, and film footage for VSE marketing purposes. The declaration of consent is valid as of the date of the event. As long as the consent is not withdrawn by sending an e-mail to dpo@vse.cz, it shall be regarded as having no time limit.
